Effects of addictions on our nation range from:

  • School drop outs.
  • Early and unwanted pregnancies.
  • Rise in crime rates like theft, assaults, rape, even homicide).

    Purpose Rwanda will be operating in every sector of Rwanda ensuring that addiction prevention and management programs are at the grassroots, family level, and village level in every cell of every sector. Accountability

Purpose Rwanda is accountable to the public/citizens but above all, our beneficiaries. We are open to provide feedback to any questions regarding our performance and finances.

We will be publishing monthly addictions recovery factsheets reporting the progress of their recovery. The report shall be capturing the number of new initiated addiction patients/delinquents in that month, how many have recovered, services that have been given and carried out, how many have become Purposeful Agents of Transformation, and any other success story attributed to achieving a delinquency and addiction free Rwandan society.

Brief about Purpose Rwanda

Purpose Rwanda is a public capacity building and psychosocial nonprofit organization that exists to build a Purposeful and Addiction Free Rwanda society towards socio economic transformation.

A home grown solution started by the public and supported by all sectors of our nation, government, civil society, private sector, media, and diplomatic corps and above all the citizens to contribute to the building of the Rwanda we want by mitigating challenges of the Rwandan dream most especially addictions and delinquency.

Campaigns.

We are targeting to reach, rehabilitate and turn 30,000 addictions patients & delinquency into Purposeful Agents of Transformation by 2028. Meaning we will be saving and transforming 5000 Addiction patients & delinquency per year. For us to be able to archive to this goal, we need to have 30,000 Rwandans saving 30,000 Addiction patients, 5000 for 5000 or One life for Another.

800+ Addiction Patients received free counseling and Therapy Services from either drug, alcohol or sex addictions but are awaiting to be reintegrated as PATs.

5000+ young people committed to abstaining from premarital sex, drugs and alcohol in a bid to reduce and stop teenage pregnancies and the spread of HIV Aids and other STDs and general danger of addiction.

70+ Young Rwandans inculcated in Reading Crown Program.



Over 70 young Rwandans were inculcated into culture of reading literature that solidifies their purpose growth (reading Crown Program).
